Q. Do I have to live in a certain area?

A. No. The beauty is that it doesn't matter where you live. As long as you can get a photo to me, I can provide you with a beautiful portrait.

   

Q. Will I receive an original or a print copy of the sketch?

A. Most artists charge you for a print of a sketch/painting, etc and then if you want the orginal, they will sell it to you for a much higher cost. I will always send the orginal sketch to you for a reasonable price.  I will keep a copy for my records and portfolio. 

 

Q: How is the sketch shipped and how much does this cost?
 
Q: How do I get the photo to you?
A: The fastest and best way is to send a jpg.file of the house to sarah@customhomesketches.com. But you can also send a photo through US mail if you don't have access to a digital camera. Your photo will be returned with the finished product.

 

Q: How should I send payment?
A: Pay Pal, money orders and personal checks are accepted. Credit card payment is not available as of now.
 
Q: What if I'm unsatisfied with the end result?
A: To ensure that you will love the final product, I will always send you a digital photo of the completed sketch before I send it off. If anything looks unsatisfactory, that will be the time where I will make adjustments and changes necessary.
 
Q. Why don't you offer frame selection?
A. Since I am a small, home-based business,  keeping an inventory of frames would be near impossible. There are so many selections out there that it would be easier for the customer to choose his or her frame to match their own personal decor. However, if this something you would really like, please let me know and I will do my best to fulfill your special request.

 

Q. What if this is a gift for someone and I don't have access to a photo of their home?

A. If you don't have a photo and know this is a gift they will love, please email me for a gift certificate with a brochure (with no prices listed) to include with your gift. You will also receive 10 % off any additional order.
